During Week 9 of the Teacher Training Program, participants engaged in a comprehensive assessment focused on three key areas: Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy. The assessment was designed to evaluate the trainees’ understanding and application of essential teaching competencies developed throughout the training sessions. Participants completed a variety of tasks that measured their reading, writing, mathematical reasoning, and digital skills.

Following the assessment, the trainees took a scheduled lunch break, providing an opportunity for rest and informal interaction among participants.

In the afternoon session, trainees participated in practical skill-development activities centered on embroidery and handicraft work. The participants demonstrated creativity and dedication while working on different projects according to their interests and skill levels. Some trainees practiced embroidery techniques on handkerchiefs, focusing on precision and pattern design. Others worked on decorative embroidery for dresses, applying more advanced stitching methods. A separate group engaged in jewellery-making activities, creating attractive handcrafted accessories using various materials and techniques.

The day’s activities successfully combined academic assessment with creative skill development, fostering both professional growth and practical craftsmanship. Overall, Week 9 was productive and provided valuable learning experiences for all participants.
