Kankinara Faculty Training Report (19th July 2026)

On Week 13 of the Teacher Training Program, trainees took part enthusiastically in a thorough evaluation spanning three key domains: Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy. This assessment aimed to measure their grasp, comprehension, and hands-on application of the material studied throughout the training. Every trainee finished the evaluation with diligence and eagerness, showcasing their dedication to lifelong learning and ongoing professional growth.

Following the lunch break, the trainees took part in two hands-on embroidery sessions. In the first session, they were introduced to two stitching techniques: the boolean stitch and the herringbone stitch, each requiring focus and precision to execute correctly. The instructor walked them through the stitching methods step by step, and the trainees attentively practiced each pattern under close supervision.

The second session centered on practical, independent application of these new skills. Most trainees practiced the boolean and herringbone stitches on handkerchiefs, while some continued refining dresses they had begun in earlier sessions. Notably, Priyanka Shaw completed outstanding needlework on a kurti as part of her homework assignment and received payment in recognition of her fine craftsmanship. These activities together helped strengthen the trainees' stitching accuracy, creativity, and overall confidence.

All through the day, the trainees stayed focused, well-disciplined, and keen to absorb new knowledge. Their engaged involvement and readiness to grow made the sessions notably successful and rewarding. On the whole, Week 13 proved to be both fruitful and enriching, adding meaningfully to the trainees' academic understanding as well as their hands-on embroidery abilities.
